Growing food and friendships in Tattenhall

Growing food locally has great environmental benefits by reducing the use of energy and materials for processing, packaging and distributing produce. Not only that but fruit and vegetables are grown organically without using harmful pesticides. An allotment also provides many good examples of sustainable waste management with much re-using, re-purposing, recycling and composting taking place. Also no food is wasted but shared within the community.
